Lake
Bangweulu - Zambia's "mini Okavango" - this wilderness
wetland supports thousands of Black Lechwe - whilst the swampy
plains are home to huge diversity of water birds. Here you will
find the rare Shoebill Stork.
Kasanka - on the edge
of the Lake Bangweulu basin. - richly endowed with rivers, lakes,
forests, lagoons and meadows supporting a wide variety of animals
and birdlife.

Lower
Zambezi - the favoured method of exploring this wilderness
is by canoe - superb fishing - excellent game viewing with good
populations of lion and leopard.
Nyika Plateau - at
its highest point 2605m - the plateau lies in north eastern Zambia
bordering Malawi.
Wildlife on this montane highland includes Burchell's zebra, roan,
eland, bushbuck, reedbuck, warthog and leopard. |

North Luangwa -
an undisturbed and game rich national park - walking safaris are
the only means of entry.
Massive herds of buffalo, large prides of lion, hyena, Cookson's
wildebeest, bushbuck are just some of the wildlife to be seen.
South Luangwa - where the "walking
safari" was born - South Luangwa is recognised as one of
the premier wildlife sanctuaries in Africa with intense concentrations
of game around the Luangwa river and its lagoons |
